"God as visiting royalty in a democratic country
“as long as man is allowed to play host he will honor God with his attention, but always He must remain a guest and never seek to be Lord.Man will have it understood that this is hid world;he will make its laws and decide how it shall be run.God is permitted to decide nothing.Man bows to him and, as he bows, manages with difficulty to conceal the crown upon his own head

How true! our natural inclination is to want our lives to be a democracy where we and God have equal rights to make choices.Sometimes our prayers go something like this:”tell me what you want me to do, God.” But inside we’re thinking, ” I have veto power if i don’t like it.” God doesn’t give us that option. In our lives, either He is on the throne or we are.

"God is never intimidated by your questions. I’d like to think that He loves them, this way, you might talk to Him."
People do get attracted to those who are on fire for the Lord. Who reflect His glory and are full of fruit. Those fired up people are full of passion for Jesus and they listen to what he says and do what he reveals. Jesus speaks through them. He ministers through them. He encourages through them. He loves through them. He touches the untouchable through them. He changes the world through them.
Be enthusiastic about knowing God and making Him known.
Be active in doing the things that keep the fire flaming – spending time reading the word and hearing the word of God, from God. be active in worship. be active in learning about God and being his friend.
Fires need fuel. The fuel for our fire is God himself, how wondrous and awesome he is. His Word gives life and power and reveals to us our God.
Be fired up. Be visible so people can watch you burn and see our Saviour.
